WHAT IS MEDIA?

 Before going into the blog, Let me introduce myself to you , I am Sai Ganesh Addala and I am from Andhra Pradesh a state of combination of great history and spiritual mythology and the place where the most critical and awesome language called Telugu is used. I am a student of Amity university Jaipur , trying to give some information on the most essential thing in Now-a-days . It's   "MEDIA" /" NEWS" {Nature Environmental And Wildlife Society}.

                         WHAT IS MEDIA?!






                         We can start our discussion of MEDIA by defining and describing about different kinds of media that, all catagory of humas are using today from a New born child to old aged human all are using media and social media directly or indirectly . Modern media comes in many different formats , including print media (books, magazines, newspapers), television, movies, video games, music, cell phones, various kinds of software, and the Internet. Each type of media {media and social media} involves both content, and also a device or object{ mobile or television} through which that content is delivered to people.


                                                        INDIAN MEDIA  {in late 19s}  

                                          The INDIAN MEDIA  consists of several different types of communications of mass media: television, radio, cinema , newspapers, magazines, and Internet-based Websites. Indian media was active since the late 18th century. The print media started in India as early as 1780. Radio broadcasting began in 1927.   Indian media is among the oldest in the world. It dates back even before the reign of ASHOKA Indian mediabecame very famous at early days as it was new revolution ,which had bought many changes on todays world.


As of 31 March 2018, there were over 100,000 publications registered with the Resgistar news paper for India. India has the second-largest newspaper market in the world, with daily newspapers reporting a combined circulation of over 240 million copies as of 2018. India has over 1,600 Satellite channels (more than 400 are news channels) and is the biggest newspaper market in the world—over 100 million copies sold each day.

The term 'print media' is used to describe the traditional or "old-fashioned" print-based media that today's parents grew up with, including newspapers, magazines, books, and comics or graphic novels. 

        *RADIO:-




In June 1923 the Radio Club of Bombay made the first ever broadcast in the country. This was followed by the setting up of the Calcutta Radio Club five months later. The Indian Broadcasting Company (IBC) came into being on July 23, 1927

       * TELEVISON :-




 Television is also known as TV or Cable tv .It has became a Family member for every one . The television industry in India is very diverse and produces thousands of programs in many of Indian languages. More than half of all Indian households own a television. As of 2016, the country had over  857 channels of which 184 were pay channels . The Telegu ,Tamil and Hindi language television industries are by far the largest television industries in India.

     *CINEMA:- 




The first silent film in Tamil, Keechaka Vadham was made by R. Nataraja Mudaliar in 1916. The first chain of Indian cinemas, Madan Theatre was owned by Parsi entrepreneur Jamshedji Framji Madan, who oversaw production of 10 films annually and distributed them throughout India beginning in 1902.
